QROPs list update

QROPs list update: On 15 April, HMRC updated its list of Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (ROPs) with an increase of eight schemes. Australia dominates the list with 59% of all ROPs available, providing emigrants with a wide choice of schemes depending on their personal requirements. It is important to note that the list is not endorsed or verified by HMRC and the onus is on the individual or their Adviser to check the scheme meets the HMRC requirements.
EU Pension Transfers: There were no changes to transfers to EU/EEA-based Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (QROPS) at the start of the new tax year.
